This dial was a major restoration as you can see from the pictures above. When it arrived to us it was printed with a non Movado design that was printed on a sticker and pasted on to a piece of badly damaged original dial. We then repaired the original dial then plated it with an original finish. It was then reprinted and luminous was applied.

This dial was barely legible and the owner didn't want a name on the dial. He requested a black background with white printing. So we stripped the dial and painted it black and printed a white color.

This dial came to us as a worn original dial. After much deliberation about weither to refinish or not the owner opted to refinish it back to it's original beauty. We know that with collectable watches many times it hurts the value of the watch to refinish but in this case where a large portion of the outer tachometer scale was missing and the red base miles was in a similar condition restoring it was the right answer we hope that you agree with us. The owner did. In the dial restoration / refinishing trade there are just a few companies that are willing to do three color with luminous dials. We are one of them and we are proud of it.
We love the challenge.
